In my previous role as an Instructional Designer, I had the opportunity to implement accessibility features in an online course to ensure inclusivity for all learners. I approached the implementation by first conducting a thorough accessibility audit of the course content and identifying areas that needed improvement. Then, I collaborated with the multimedia production team to make the necessary modifications, such as adding alternative text to images and providing closed captions for videos. Additionally, I worked closely with the instructional designers to ensure that the course materials were designed with accessibility in mind, such as using clear and concise language and organizing information in a logical manner. Finally, I conducted usability testing with individuals with disabilities to gather feedback and make further improvements. Overall, my approach to implementing accessibility features focused on creating an inclusive learning experience for all learners.
