I have experience working with students with various disabilities and learning disorders. I have worked in special education for over five years, where I have developed individualized education programs (IEPs) for students, assessed their abilities, and crafted instruction methods to meet their learning needs. I have collaborated with parents, teachers, and school counselors to promote students' educational progress and have implemented and adapted lesson plans based on students' needs. I have also utilized assistive technology and other resources to enhance learning for students with disabilities. I have a strong understanding of federal and state special education laws and have advocated for students' needs. Additionally, I have provided guidance and training to support staff and educational assistants. I stay updated with special education practices and participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance my skills.
