In my previous role as a Horticulturist, I had to communicate horticultural information to a non-technical audience when I was hired by a local community center to give a presentation on sustainable gardening practices. During the presentation, I explained the importance of using organic fertilizers, composting, and water conservation techniques for maintaining a healthy garden. I used visual aids and demonstrations to make the information more accessible to the audience. I also provided practical tips on selecting appropriate plants for different soil types and climate conditions. The audience found the presentation informative and engaging, and they expressed their interest in implementing sustainable gardening practices in their own gardens.
