During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to work on a scientific paper focused on the effects of climate change on bird populations. The paper aimed to assess the potential shifts in the distribution and abundance of bird species in response to climate change. My contribution to the paper involved collecting and analyzing bird population data from various field surveys. I also conducted statistical analyses to determine the relationships between bird abundance and climate variables. Additionally, I assisted in the interpretation of the findings and contributed to the writing of the paper. This experience allowed me to gain valuable insights into the process of scientific research and publication.

In this study, I played a pivotal role in designing and conducting bird surveys across multiple sites within the region. I implemented advanced statistical techniques, including occupancy modeling and species distribution modeling, to analyze the data collected. Using R and ArcGIS, I developed models to predict the current and future distribution of bird species under different climate change scenarios.
