As an Ecological Modeler, you will be responsible for developing and using mathematical and computational tools to simulate ecological processes and forecast the impacts of environmental changes. Your role is crucial in informing conservation efforts, managing natural resources, and understanding complex ecological dynamics.

Qualifications

Experience with statistical analysis and programming languages such as R, Python, or MATLAB.
Familiarity with GIS tools and spatial analysis techniques.
Responsibilities
Developing and validating ecological models to simulate the interactions within ecosystems.
Analyzing data from field observations, remote sensing, and other sources to inform and refine models.
Working with interdisciplinary teams to integrate ecological models with socio-economic and climate models.
Communicating model results to stakeholders, policymakers, and the scientific community through reports, presentations, and publications.

Assisting in the design and implementation of field studies to gather necessary data for model calibration and validation.
