Tell us about your experience in fabric selection for costumes.

In my previous role as a Junior Costume Designer, I gained experience in fabric selection for costumes through hands-on projects in theater and film productions. I would research fashion trends and historical periods to contribute to the overall costume design. I would assist in sketching preliminary costume designs, considering different fabric options based on the vision of the production director. I would collaborate with the costume design team to modify and finalize the designs, ensuring that the fabric choice complements the overall aesthetic. Additionally, I would contribute to the costume construction process, including cutting, sewing, and fitting costumes to ensure the perfect fit for the actors and performers.
