Tell me about your experience with inspection reporting tools. Which ones have you used?

I've got a fair bit of experience with inspection reporting tools. In my previous job at BuildCo, I mainly worked with around Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD to prepare reports. I would go out to the field, inspect constructions, take some notes and photos, then come back to the office to compile it all into a comprehensive report. Sometimes I'd use AutoCAD to draw up schematics of the site if needed. I think I was pretty good at it, if I do say so myself.

Throughout my experience with inspection reporting tools, Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD have been the two I've been most familiar with during my time at BuildCo. Every day, I worked independently, heading out to construction sites to perform thorough inspections. I captured details meticulously, taking extensive notes and photographs which I would later integrate into a clear and concise report using Adobe Acrobat. Sometimes, when the project required it, I would generate detailed site schematics using AutoCAD. Beyond simply using these tools for report generation, I also engaged my strong observational and analytical skills to extract meaningful insights from my findings. This ensured the reports I generated were not only thorough but also valuable in informing next steps for the project, thereby demonstrating my proactive contribution to the team.
