Qualifications

Valid certification for construction inspection or ability to obtain one.
Knowledge of local building codes and construction regulations.
Experience with construction management software and proficiency in MS Office.
Responsibilities
Perform onsite inspections of construction projects to ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and contract specifications.
Collaborate with construction managers and engineering teams to discuss and resolve structural deficiencies and other site issues.
Review and interpret blueprints, site plans, and construction documents to confirm accuracy and completeness.
Keep detailed records of inspections, noting any issues or compliance matters, and prepare official reports.
Monitor the construction phases, including foundation laying, building erection, and systems installations, to assure quality control.
Ensure safety standards and practices are maintained at construction sites to protect workers and the public.
Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and government officials.
Stay current with latest construction techniques, materials, and legal requirements affecting the industry.
