In a previous project, I was conducting research on a historic building to determine its architectural significance. However, during the research process, I discovered new information about the building's construction techniques and materials. This required me to adapt my research approach and delve deeper into the historical context of those construction techniques. I consulted additional sources, including historical records and architectural experts, to gain a better understanding. By doing so, I was able to present a more comprehensive analysis of the building and its historical significance.

One project where I had to adapt my research approach was when I was working on the documentation of a historic church. Initially, I had gathered information from archival materials and conducted on-site surveys to assess its architectural significance. However, during the historical research phase, I came across a new piece of information about a hidden underground room that was not previously documented. This discovery required me to shift my focus and modify my research approach to include investigating this hidden room's history and its impact on the overall architectural significance of the church.
