Experience with GIS and CAD software is preferred.
Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Conduct historical research on architectural subjects using various sources, including archives, libraries, and online databases.
Prepare reports and documentation for historic properties, including National Register nominations and Historic Resource Evaluations.
Work with regulatory agencies, clients, and consultants to ensure compliance with historic preservation laws and standards.
Assist in the development of preservation planning documents.
Present findings to public agencies, committees, and other stakeholders.
Evaluate the historic significance of buildings, districts, and landscapes.
Provide expertise in historic architecture during the planning and design phases of renovation and restoration projects.
