I have experience using GIS and other digital tools for historical analysis. In my previous role as a research assistant, I worked on a project to map and analyze historical sites in our city using GIS software. I also used digital tools to research and analyze archival data, such as old maps, photographs, and documents. This helped us understand the historical development of the city and identify significant architectural sites. I presented my findings in reports and presentations to stakeholders and professional audiences. This experience has given me a solid foundation in using GIS and other digital tools for historical analysis.

In my previous role as a Senior Architectural Historian, I extensively utilized GIS and other digital tools for historical analysis. For a project on the preservation of a historic district, I conducted research to identify important architectural features and assess their historical significance. I used GIS software to create detailed maps and spatially analyze the district, identifying clusters of historic buildings and areas requiring specific preservation strategies. Additionally, I employed other digital tools for data collection, such as utilizing 3D scanning technology to capture precise measurements of historical structures.
