In my previous role as a Virology Research Assistant, I encountered a technical issue in the laboratory while conducting viral assays. The instrument we were using for qPCR analysis suddenly stopped working and we were unable to get any results. To troubleshoot the issue, I carefully inspected the instrument, checking for any loose connections or errors in the software. I discovered that a cable was not properly connected, causing the instrument to malfunction. I quickly reconnected the cable and restarted the instrument, which resolved the issue. As a result, we were able to continue with our analysis and obtain the necessary data for our research project.
