Describe a time when you had to prepare a technical report or research paper. What was the topic and what was your process?

I recently worked on a research project where I had to prepare a technical report on the synthesis of a new compound. The topic of the report was focused on developing an efficient and scalable synthetic route for the target molecule. My process involved conducting a literature review to understand the existing methods and identify any potential gaps or challenges. I then designed and performed experiments to optimize the reaction conditions and purification techniques.
