Tell us about a challenging situation you faced while working with a diverse population and how you handled it.

In my previous role as a case worker, I encountered a challenging situation while working with a diverse population. I had a client who spoke a different language and had limited English proficiency. This made it difficult for us to communicate effectively. However, I was able to find a solution by working with an interpreter who could help us bridge the language barrier. I also took the time to learn a few basic phrases in the client's language to make them feel more comfortable. By utilizing these strategies, I was able to establish a rapport with the client and effectively provide the assistance and support they needed.
