Can you describe a project where you had to design for a specific industry or domain? How did you research and incorporate industry-specific requirements?

In my previous role as a UI/UX designer, I had the opportunity to work on a project for a healthcare industry client. The goal was to design a patient appointment scheduling platform. To research and incorporate industry-specific requirements, I started by conducting interviews with healthcare professionals and patients to understand their needs and pain points. I also analyzed existing appointment scheduling systems in the market to identify best practices. Based on my research, I drafted a set of industry-specific requirements, such as HIPAA compliance and integration with electronic health records. I then collaborated with the development team to ensure these requirements were implemented. Throughout the design process, I regularly engaged with the client to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to meet their specific needs.
