In my previous role, I had the opportunity to collaborate closely with senior technicians to understand substation operation and maintenance. We would have regular meetings where they would explain the various components of the substation and how they functioned. They would also walk me through the maintenance procedures and show me how to conduct routine checks on the equipment. Additionally, they would assign me tasks to assist them with maintenance activities, such as testing and troubleshooting. Through these collaborations, I gained a solid understanding of substation operations and the importance of preventive maintenance.

In my previous role as a Junior Substation Technician, collaborating with senior technicians was a crucial part of my learning experience. I actively sought out opportunities to shadow and learn from them, and they were always open to sharing their knowledge and expertise.
