My preferred method of organizing and managing sound libraries and archives is to use a combination of categorization and metadata tagging. I start by creating folders for different types of sounds, such as music, effects, and dialogue. Within each folder, I further categorize the sounds based on their characteristics, such as genre, mood, or instrument. Additionally, I use metadata tagging to add detailed information to each sound file, including keywords, descriptions, and relevant project information.
