Tell us about a time when you had to think outside the box to solve a problem in a product management role.

In my previous role as a Product Manager at an EdTech company, I encountered a challenge where we needed to find a solution to improve student engagement in online learning platforms. Instead of relying on traditional methods, I decided to think outside the box and explore gamification. I proposed the idea of creating interactive quizzes and leaderboards to make learning more fun and competitive for students. To implement this, I collaborated with the development team and instructional designers to design and develop the gamification features. We conducted user testing and gathered feedback to iterate and improve the features. The result was a significant increase in student engagement and motivation to learn. This experience taught me the importance of thinking creatively and exploring innovative approaches to solve problems in the EdTech space.
