In my previous role as a Junior Project Engineer, I had to facilitate decision-making within a project team when we were faced with a critical design issue. The team was divided on the best approach to resolve the issue, and it was essential to reach a consensus quickly to avoid delays in the project. To facilitate the decision-making process, I organized a meeting with all team members to discuss the different options and gather their input. I created a structured agenda and ensured that everyone had an opportunity to voice their opinions. As the facilitator, I listened actively, asked clarifying questions, and encouraged open and respectful discussion.
