Tell us about a time you encountered a network-related challenge that required you to think outside the box. How did you resolve it?

I encountered a network-related challenge when our company experienced frequent network outages due to a faulty switch. To resolve it, I first identified the root cause by analyzing the network logs and performing tests. Then, I thought outside the box and proposed a temporary workaround by reconfiguring the network topology to bypass the problematic switch. This involved rerouting traffic through alternative paths and configuring backup switches. Although this solution was not ideal, it allowed us to maintain network connectivity while we awaited a replacement switch. Once the new switch arrived, I installed it and restored the network to its original configuration. This experience taught me the importance of quick problem-solving and creative thinking in network troubleshooting.

In a previous role, I faced a network-related challenge when our company experienced intermittent network slowdowns during peak hours.
