Summary of the Role
As a Vice President of Quality Assurance, you will lead the strategic direction and management of the quality assurance department within our organization. This role requires you to ensure that all products and services meet company standards as well as customer satisfaction levels before they reach the market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements, enforce quality assurance policies, and oversee the implementation of quality assurance systems.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a managerial role within quality assurance.
Certification in Quality Management System (e.g., ISO 9001) is an asset.
Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
Responsibilities
Establish and implement the quality assurance strategy and standards for the organization.
Lead and mentor the quality assurance team in the development of audit plans, testing procedures, and process evaluations.
Collaborate with product development and operations teams to integrate quality assurance measures throughout the production life cycle.
Analyze data from quality inspections to identify areas for improvement across the company.
Oversee and review the creation of comprehensive test plans and the effective troubleshooting of issues.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of quality assurance standards.
Report to top management on the performance of the QA system and any need for improvement.
Drive root cause analyses, corrective actions, and preventative measures to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.
Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
