One difficult decision I had to make that impacted my advocacy work was when I had to choose between two different campaign strategies. One strategy focused on grassroots organizing and community engagement, while the other strategy focused on policy lobbying and advocacy. I approached the decision-making process by thoroughly researching and analyzing the potential outcomes of each strategy. I also sought input and feedback from my team members and other stakeholders. Ultimately, I decided to combine both strategies, using grassroots organizing as a foundation for community support and leveraging that support to influence policymakers. This approach proved successful as it allowed us to build a strong coalition of community members and stakeholders while also effectively advocating for policy changes.
