Tell us about a time when you had to present your packaging designs to stakeholders. How did you convince them of your design choices?

In my previous role as a Packaging Engineer, I had to present my packaging designs to stakeholders on a regular basis. One particular project stands out, where I had to convince the stakeholders of my design choices for a new product launch. I prepared a comprehensive presentation that highlighted the key features and benefits of the packaging design. I backed up my design choices with data and research, showcasing how the design would enhance the product's functionality, protect it during transportation and storage, and comply with industry standards and regulations. I also explained how the design would improve the overall customer experience and differentiate the product from competitors. By effectively communicating the value and rationale behind my design choices, I was able to gain buy-in from the stakeholders and successfully implement the packaging design.

As a Packaging Engineer, I often had the opportunity to present my packaging designs to stakeholders, and one particular instance comes to mind.
