In my previous role as a Research Assistant, I often had to work both independently and as part of a team. One specific project comes to mind where I was responsible for conducting experiments on a new catalytic material. I would spend the majority of my time working independently in the laboratory, setting up the experiments, monitoring reactions, and collecting data. However, I also had to collaborate with my team members, including discussing the progress of the project, sharing insights, and seeking advice when needed. We would have regular meetings to review the results and brainstorm potential improvements. To manage both responsibilities effectively, I would prioritize my tasks, ensuring that I dedicated sufficient time to independent work while also actively participating in team discussions and meetings.
