Experience with tax software and databases and advanced knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic tax plans to optimize tax position and ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and international tax laws.
Lead and manage the tax team to prepare accurate and timely tax returns and ensure proper tax accounting.
Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the implications to management, and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.
Provide guidance on tax implications of business transactions and operations, including mergers, acquisitions, and expansions.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors such as attorneys and auditors to manage tax risks.
Conduct tax risk assessments, implement improvements to tax processes, and maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
Oversee tax audits, negotiate with tax authorities, and manage tax disputes.
