In my previous role as a Network Security Engineer, there was a need to implement a new security technology called intrusion detection system (IDS). To approach the learning process, I started by thoroughly researching IDS, its functionalities, and its impact on network security. I also attended a training session on IDS, where I gained hands-on experience and learned best practices for its deployment and configuration. Additionally, I collaborated with senior engineers and sought their guidance to understand real-world scenarios and challenges.
