In my previous role as a Senior Chassis Engineer, I encountered a situation where there was a conflict between the design team and the manufacturing team regarding the feasibility of a new chassis component. The design team believed that the component could be manufactured without any issues, while the manufacturing team expressed concerns about the complexity and cost of producing it. To address this conflict, I organized a meeting with both teams to discuss their perspectives and find a resolution. We started by allowing each team to present their arguments and concerns. I acted as a mediator, ensuring that everyone had a chance to express their opinions and concerns. After listening to both sides, I proposed a compromise solution that took into consideration the feasibility, cost, and performance requirements of the component.
