Summary of the Role
As a Perioperative Nurse, you will be responsible for providing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring their safety, advocating for the patient, and working closely with the surgical team to facilitate successful outcomes.

Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license

2-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a surgical setting
Certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR) is an advantage
Responsibilities
Assess patients' condition before a surgical procedure
Assist surgeons during operations, ensuring that the surgical room is sterile
Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery
Provide postoperative care to help with recovery
Administer medications and keep detailed records of patients' medical histories
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a plan of care
Educate patients and their families on postsurgical care and any potential complications
Adhere to all relevant nursing and health and safety guidelines and procedures
