We were working on a project analyzing the impact of a new immigration policy. We realized that there was a lack of current data on the economic contributions of immigrants, which was crucial for our analysis. I coordinated with my team members to conduct a literature review and found that there were limited studies on this topic. We proposed to conduct primary research by surveying local businesses to gather data on the economic activities of immigrants. Our proposal was accepted, and we developed a survey questionnaire and collected data from over 200 businesses. This allowed us to fill the research gap and provide valuable insights for our analysis.
