Summary of the Role
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing accounting procedures and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing financial records, preparing and analyzing reports, and providing guidance on fiscal efficiency to optimize the financial health of the organization.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation is preferred
Intermediate understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
Experience with large ERP systems and accounting software
Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile ledger accounts and financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Provide recommendations for improving the organization's financial performance and financial reporting processes
Assist in the development and implementation of new accounting procedures
