In my previous role as a tech lead, I faced a challenge when managing a partnership with a vendor whose offering was integral to our cloud infrastructure. Communication issues and misunderstandings about the scope led to several project delays. To address this, I organized regular check-ins with the vendor and created a shared project timeline, which significantly improved coordination and helped us get back on track.

At my last company, coordinating with a data analytics partner was challenging due to their differing project management methods, causing friction and inefficiencies. As a response, I spearheaded a 'partnership alignment initiative' where we integrated part of our Agile processes into their workflows. This resulted in creating a hybrid project management framework which dramatically improved collaboration, meeting deadlines, and ultimately, the service quality provided to our customers.
