Summary of the Role
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance. The role involves developing quality control processes, overseeing the inspection of products, and identifying areas for quality improvement. This position requires an individual with strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management or relevant field.
Certification in Quality Control is preferred but not necessary.
Understanding of quality standards and regulations.
Experience with quality control techniques and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes.
Perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure that manufacturing processes meet quality standards.
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians.
Ensure compliance with national and international quality standards.
Provide training to quality control staff.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements.
