In my previous role as a Biological Waste Technologist, I had the opportunity to conduct facility inspections on a regular basis. During these inspections, I would assess the compliance of the facility with safety and health standards. I would check if proper waste segregation and disposal procedures were being followed, and if the facility had the necessary equipment in place for waste treatment. I would also ensure that the staff was educated and trained on these procedures. I would document any non-compliance issues found during the inspections and report them to the appropriate personnel for corrective action.
