In my previous role as a Sustainability Analyst at XYZ Company, I had to adapt sustainability strategies to fit the needs of specific stakeholders or projects on multiple occasions. One instance was when we were implementing a waste reduction program in collaboration with our suppliers. Our goal was to reduce waste across our supply chain, but we faced resistance from some suppliers who were concerned about the cost implications. To address this, I organized meetings with the suppliers to understand their concerns and find common ground. Through these discussions, we were able to identify cost-effective solutions that aligned with their needs while still achieving our sustainability targets.
