In my previous role as an intern at an architecture firm, I had the opportunity to research and apply green building materials and technologies. One project I worked on was a retrofit project for an office building. I researched different sustainable materials such as recycled insulation, low VOC paints, and energy-efficient lighting fixtures. I also looked into renewable energy technologies like solar panels and geothermal systems. After conducting thorough research, I presented my findings to the team and we decided to incorporate these green materials and technologies into the design.
