Summary of the Role
As an Intermediate Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, assessment, and inspection of bridge structures. You will work on projects from the initial concept through to completion, ensuring all designs meet required specifications and standards. You will also contribute to the planning, analysis, and management of projects, often working in a team of engineers and other professionals.

Qualifications

Understanding of relevant codes and standards such as AASHTO and ACI.
Responsibilities
Design bridge structures in accordance with industry standards and government regulations.
Perform structural analysis and calculations for bridge components.
Inspect bridges to assess condition and determine necessary repairs or maintenance.
Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute bridge construction or renovation projects.
Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to stakeholders.
Ensure project deliverables align with time, budget, and quality constraints.
Conduct fieldwork to gather data for designing and planning bridge projects.
Stay up-to-date with new engineering technology and practices relevant to bridge construction and design.
