Tell me about your experience working with architects and engineers in a drafting role.

In my previous role as a drafting assistant, I had the opportunity to work closely with architects and engineers on a daily basis. I collaborated with them to gather the necessary product and structural requirements for the drawings. I also assisted in calculating dimensions and weight limitations for the projects. Using CAD software, I created and revised technical drawings according to their specifications. Communication was key in this role, as I needed to ensure that the drawings were compliant with industry and technical standards. I documented and archived all the work, including drafts, final plans, and revisions. Additionally, I coordinated with other team members to ensure the accurate and timely completion of projects.
