A time when I had to learn a new design software was when I started working at my previous company. They used Sketch for their design projects, and I was only familiar with Adobe Creative Suite at the time. To adapt, I took the initiative to enroll in an online course on Sketch and spent my evenings practicing with the software. I also reached out to my colleagues for guidance and tips. As I became more comfortable with Sketch, I started incorporating it into my workflow by using it for new design projects. I found that Sketch had many features that made the design process more efficient, such as symbols and artboards. Overall, it took me about a month to fully adapt to Sketch and incorporate it into my workflow.

When I joined my previous company, there was a sudden shift in design software. They had been using Adobe Creative Suite for years, but decided to transition to Figma to improve collaboration and streamline the design process. As a senior web designer, I knew it was crucial for me to quickly adapt to the new tool.
