Ability to obtain research funding and manage project budgets
Responsibilities
Design and conduct animal health research studies, including field and laboratory-based investigations
Analyze and interpret data, and prepare scientific reports and papers
Collaborate with other scientists and research institutions to develop new technologies and methodologies for animal healthcare
Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements for animal research
Develop and test new pharmaceuticals and vaccines for disease prevention and treatment
Monitor and report on emerging animal diseases and potential public health threats
Seek funding and manage budgets for research projects
Present findings at conferences and contribute to scientific literature in the field of veterinary medicine
