Summary of the Role
The Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) is a strategic leader responsible for designing, leading, and implementing programs and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. The CDO advises senior management and works across departments to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all employees, customers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in a complex organization.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful DEI programs and strategies.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local equal employment opportunity laws and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
Collaborate with HR and other departments to embed DEI best practices into recruitment, retention, training, and career development.
Oversee the collection and analysis of data related to diversity metrics to assess the effectiveness of diversity initiatives and to inform decision-making.
Advise executive leadership on matters of diversity and work to integrate a DEI perspective into all business strategies and functions.
Act as a change agent by leading and supporting initiatives that help foster an inclusive culture, including training programs and employee resource groups.
Represent the company in external forums, networks, and partnerships related to diversity and inclusion.
Stay current with diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices to continuously evolve the organization's strategies.
