Qualifications

Responsibilities
Examine and diagnose skin biopsies under a microscope for diseases, including cancer, infections, and genetic conditions.
Collaborate with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of treatment.
Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in dermatopathology to implement new techniques in diagnosis.
Engage in interdepartmental meetings to discuss complex cases with other pathologists and clinicians.
Maintain patient records and pathology reports with accurate findings and diagnostic information.
Supervise laboratory technicians to ensure proper processing of biopsy samples.
Participate in educational sessions for residents and fellows in both dermatology and pathology.
