Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and consultations to determine their suitability for plastic surgery procedures.
Collaborate with plastic surgeons to develop individualized care plans for patients.
Administer injections, provide wound care, and perform minor surgical procedures under the supervision of a plastic surgeon.
Monitor patients' progress and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed.
Educate patients and their families on postoperative care, risks, and benefits of procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Provide emotional support to patients dealing with body image issues and the psychological impacts of plastic surgery.
Participate in research and continuous education related to plastic surgery nursing practices.
