Summary of the Role
As a Junior Environmental Planner, you will assist in developing and reviewing environmental impact reports and studies, participate in policy analysis, and support public engagement initiatives for land use projects to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, urban planning, geography, or a related field
Basic knowledge of environmental laws and regulations

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and review of environmental impact assessments and related documentation
Conduct field surveys to collect data on flora, fauna, and other environmental features
Collaborate with team members to develop land use planning strategies that comply with environmental regulations
Provide administrative support in public hearings and environmental permitting processes
Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze environmental data and for map production
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including government agencies, clients, and the community regarding environmental planning matters
Monitor current legislation and policies that affect environmental planning and land use
Contribute to the research and writing of environmental policy reports and proposals
