Responsibilities
Assess and determine the needs of children and their families, and advocate for services that support their well-being.
Collaborate with social workers, teachers, and health professionals to develop plans that prioritize the child's best interests.
Communicate and negotiate with various stakeholders, including legal representatives and government agencies, on behalf of the child.
Monitor the implementation of service plans and court orders to ensure they are being followed and benefiting the child.
Provide emotional support and guidance to children during legal proceedings or in crisis situations.
Educate families and children about their rights and available resources.
Prepare reports and maintain detailed records of cases to ensure all information is properly documented and confidential.
Attend court hearings and provide testimony supporting the child's best interests when necessary.
