Summary of the Role
As a Senior Vehicle Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration of systems within automotive vehicles. Experience with automotive electronics and software, including CAN bus and other communication protocols.
Familiarity with safety standards such as ISO 26262 and regulations applicable to automotive systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work on complex systems.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of system integration strategies for new vehicle platforms, ensuring compatibility and functionality across systems.
Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement integration test plans, including hardware-in-the-loop and vehicle-level testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues involving mechanical, electrical, and software components.
Provide technical leadership in cross-functional teams, including participating in design reviews and recommending improvements.
Ensure that vehicle systems comply with industry standards and regulations.
Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in vehicle integration and apply this knowledge to improve processes and products.
