Summary of the Role
As a Student Advisor, you will provide academic advising and support services to students, helping them navigate through their educational journey. You will work closely with students to understand their goals, recommend courses, and assist with the registration process while monitoring their progress and helping to resolve any academic issues that may arise.

Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in academic advising, student services, or a related area.

Experience in developing and facilitating student workshops.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Meet with students to discuss their academic goals and provide course planning guidance.
Monitor student progress and provide interventions as necessary to aid in student success.
Assist with the resolution of academic issues, such as scheduling conflicts or academic probation.
Collaborate with faculty and other staff to provide a supportive learning environment.
Coordinate with other departments to facilitate comprehensive support services.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of academic policies, degree requirements, and registration procedures.
Develop and conduct workshops on academic skills, time management, and other relevant topics.
