Summary of the Role
The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing an organization's technical infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers to ensure high availability and optimal performance. This role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and staying current with technology trends to ensure that infrastructure components are efficient, secure, and effectively support the IT demands of the business.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
2-5 years of experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, etc.
Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
Experience in interpreting the applicability of local and federal laws/regulations to company operations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development
Certification in relevant IT fields (such as CISSP, CCNP, MCSE)
Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the infrastructure team to ensure timely and successful delivery of technical projects and operations
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure administration and project management
Plan and coordinate the design, installation, and connectivity of computer and network systems to ensure stable and secure operation of the organization's IT assets
Monitor and manage all installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring proper maintenance and upgrades
Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, internet, intranet, security, wireless implementations, and so on
Conduct feasibility studies for various upgrade projects, improvements, and other conversions
Define and implement IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues when they arise
