As an Animal Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting animal welfare and conservation efforts through education, community engagement, and partnership building. You will develop and implement outreach programs, participate in public speaking events, and collaborate with various stakeholders to raise awareness about animal-related issues and the importance of environmental stewardship.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in biology, zoology, environmental science, education, or a related field
2-5 years of experience in outreach, education, or communication, preferably within an animal welfare or conservation organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to design and implement successful outreach and education programs
Ability to work collaboratively with teams and build partnerships with external organizations
Knowledge of current issues and trends in animal welfare and environmental conservation
Strong organizational and project management skills
Responsibilities
Designing and conducting educational programs and events to promote animal welfare and conservation
Collaborating with schools, community groups, and other organizations to reach a wider audience
Developing informative materials and resources to support outreach activities
Attending conferences, workshops, and public events to represent the organization and its mission
Cultivating relationships with media outlets and using social media platforms to expand outreach efforts
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of outreach programs and making improvements as needed
Supporting the organization's fundraising efforts by participating in grant writing and donor engagement
Advising on the development of policies and legislation related to animal protection and conservation
