Summary of the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Automotive Manufacturing Engineer to lead our production team and oversee the manufacturing processes within our automotive facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safety standards in our high-volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or a related industry.
Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Experience with automotive industry standards and regulations.
Familiarity with ISO quality management systems and lean manufacturing principles.
Expertise in the use of CAD/CAM software and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
Certification in Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure manufacturability of new vehicle designs.
Manage the installation, maintenance, and optimization of manufacturing equipment.
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase production efficiency.
Conduct process simulations and validations using CAD and other engineering software tools.
Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving activities and root cause analysis.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards for quality and safety.
Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and leadership.
Prepare and present technical and progress reports to management and stakeholders.
Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
