Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of practice.
Certification in Pain Management Nursing (RN-BC) or similar credentials preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in pain management, anesthesia, or related field.
DEA License and ability to prescribe medication independently.
Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized pain management plans.
Prescribe medication and modify dosages as needed to manage pain effectively.
Perform procedures such as injections or nerve blocks to alleviate pain.
